Grape seeds are rich in oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC). These secondary plant substances belong to the group of polyphenols. 
The health value of polyphenols can be recognized by their function in the plants. Wherever a plant has to defend itself, for example
against viruses, bacteria, fungi or even oxidation of the fatty acids in oil-rich grape seeds, it builds protective substances from poly
phenols. Acerola cherry is rich in vitamin C, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. In addition, vitamin C 
supports the immune system and collagen formation and normal functioning of blood vessels
